Based on anonymous biographies, I create a mosaic of individual experiences with a focus on language, identity, migration and work. In my films, performances and installations, I combine these fragments into stories that the viewer can remember from her own experience like a déjà-vu. In this way, the unfamiliar and strange appears in a familiar horizon.

ネオポスト・コロニアルとも捉えられる時代の沖縄に生まれ育ち、その私的な視点と経験がベースとなり創作活動を始める。人々が持つ、語られることのない彼らの物語を言語、アイデンティティ、労働についてフォーカスを当ててインタビュー、収集。それらを元に、ドキュメンタリーとフィクションのあいだの映像作品とパフォーマティヴインスタレーションを創作している。どこかの誰かの物語なのに、いつか自分が経験したことのある、感じたことのある感覚を再び見つけ出す、デジャヴュ的作品。
